Pastor Teresa
came to our congregation in 1997. She has been ordained since 1982. She
has a Master of Divinity degree from Christian Theological Seminary in
Indianapolis, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Ecumenical
Theological Seminary in Detroit. She has served congregations in
Indiana, Oregon, Michigan and Ohio. She is married to the Rev. Dr.
Albert Dulyea-Parker. They have two adult sons, Jeff and Travis. |

Children's Choir

Debbie Krause
|
Debbie was
hired in 2003 to lead our children in making a "joyful noise for the
Lord." She loves children, has a deep faith, and the patience to match
it. This position was created in order to encourage more of our children
to take part in singing. |

Martha Hasselbusch |
Martha
Hasselbusch has been our Choir Director since 2003. Martha has extensive
musical training, graduating from Baldwin Wallace College. She has been
a music teacher, and currently offers private lessons. She also has
earned a law degree and has her School Principal credentials. Her day
job is as a School Administrator. She is a joyous and creative soul. |

Christian Education

Kim Porter |
Kim Porter comes to us with a varied background of Christian and secular
education leadership experience. She previously served on staff as
Director of Christian Education at High Street Christian Church
(Disciples) in downtown Akron, DCE at the Akron Area Association of
Churches, and as DCE at First Christian Church (Disciples) in Alliance.
She has also served in Christian education ministry in numerous other
churches & denominations. Currently - in addition to her ministry at
FCC - you might find her working occasionally at the United Methodist
Church East Ohio Conference Media Center as an Assistant Media
Specialist or as a substitute teacher in the Akron Public Schools.
Kim is originally from Toledo, OH, and came to this area of Ohio via her
degree at Kent State University. Kim and her husband, Ray, live in
Akron.

We have
contracted with a cleaning company to clean the building and
Linda and Roy Rednour handle keeping our building clean and tidy for us. |

Laura Huffman |
Laura grew up in First Christian Church. Her love for
music has been on display in talent shows and the choir. She has grown
into this position and is a wonderfully talented and spiritually mature
musician. She has a degree in Animation from Youngstown State
University. |

Vicki Grace |
Our gracious
Church Secretary is Vicki Grace. She joined our staff in 2004. She is a
gifted administrator and warm receptionist. She is happy to help with
anything that she can. |
