There are 21 people scheduled to go on the New Orleans Mission trip this summer.
There will be another meeting held for those going in April. The date
will be coming soon. We will be participating in Operation Nehemiah this year.

prayers.
Plant Sale ~ Marian Mishler
Do you have a green thumb? Do you like to play in the dirt? Get
the seed catalogs out and see what you would like to plant for the First Plant
Sale! We are looking for donations of flowers, herbs, vegetables, house
plants, etc. If the flower gardens at your home need divided, because of
crowding, donate the surplus of items for the Plant Sale. Sale will be
Friday, May 16th, from 8:30am-3:30pm and Saturday, May 17th from 8:30am-12:00pm.
We will also be accepting donations of containers for planting, seeds, and or
potting soil in early February. This sale will be for the Mission
Projects. Contact Sally Smith or Marian Mishler 330-725-6917
HYMNAL
SALE to SUPPORT the MISSION TRIP
We received a gift of 220 new Chalice Hymnals from a family in our congregation.
They are a beautiful addition to our worship experience. If you would like one
of the old hymnals, we are suggesting a $5 donation to the Mission Trip fund.
The hymnals are in the narthex with a beautiful blue box for donations.
Join in the Waves of Prayer for Peace ~ Jean Linderman
Every Thursday at noon, a small group of people meet at First Christian to
pray for peace. We join with others around the globe who pray for peace every
Thursday at noon in their time zones, spreading the wave around the world. We
gather at about 11:50 and pray silently from noon to 12:15. That’s it – no
elaborate ceremony – just heartfelt prayers for peace in this battered world.
Please join us whenever you can. And if you can’t, pray wherever you are.
Thursdays at noon.
