- "Out of love, place yourself at one another's service ... Help carry
one another's burdens, in that way you will fulfill the law of Christ"
(Gal 5:13, 6:2). we have a duty as Christians to strive for
reconciliation and unity, show compassion, and joyfully serve those less
fortunate.
Ministry Opportunities
The Cleveland
Christian Home is a facility for residential treatment for children and
families. FCC has a long tradition of reaching out to the children at the "Home"
with financial or other help. Please contact us if you'd like to help with a
service project or donate to Back to School or Christmas gift drives.
Our congregation
holds six special offerings throughout the year to support the work of Disciples
Mission Finance, a mission function of the Disciple’s denomination. Help is
needed to promote these through announcements, newsletter articles, etc.
Two Softball games
played by four integrated teams of players from FCC and Medina County Special
Olympics with a picnic in between.
Throughout each
week, we are visited by individuals needing basic food items. If you would like
to help to ensure that our food pantry is stocked with those non-perishable
goods, please give us a call to help with this ministry.

This annual event is

Women Writing
Women - Contact: Jean Linderman (723-5063 -
JeanRL@ZoomInternet.net)
If you are a woman
who wants to spread understanding in our world, consider participating in Women
Writing Women. This "homegrown" program began here at First Christian, and now
sends letters from all over the U.S. to Muslim women in the Middle East. All it
takes is 20-30 minutes of your time to write a short letter of friendship.
