- "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation"
(Mk 16:15). As Christians, we are all called to share the Good News of
Jesus Christ within our own community. We can all rejoice with each
new believer, and are all enriched by each new member that joins us.
Ministry Opportunities
FCC 101 - Contact: Evan Hollopeter (667-2452 -
ehollopeter@neo.rr.com)
For those new to our church, this class will give some background
on the Disciples denomination, the history of FCC Medina, and explain our
present church structure and opportunities for ministry.
Name Tags - Contact: Kay Kaufman (239-1368 -
HLK2324@adelphia.net)
Provide name tags for all attendees. How do we come to know each
other better? It starts when we begin to call each other by name. This important
ministry helps link us to one another drawing us closer in the family of God.
The growth of our congregation is a blessing from God, and our
new members are very important to us. This ministry helps us to recognize and
learn more about the new faces among us.
Visit Prospective Members - Looking for Coordinator
We have a team of First Time Visitor Callers whose main job is to
just let someone know that "we were glad to have you with us." If you like to
spread kindness and extend friendship, you might want to check out this
ministry. During your first visits to FCC Medina, you were noticed! We were so
glad to have you join us that we probably paid you a short visit later that
Sunday just to let you know how much we appreciated your choice to worship with
us.
Visitor Baskets & Info Packet - Contact: Louise Tichenor
(722-0309 - latweez@aol.com)
Perhaps when you were a First Time Visitor, a member of FCC
dropped by your home with a basket of goodies and information. The basket you
received was prepared by someone from this Ministry Opportunity group and we
could always use a few more bakers and assemblers.
Visitor Information Tracker - Contact: Vicki Grace (723-7021 –
fccmedinasec@verizon.net )
When a visitor has shown continued interest in our church, our
minister visits them to foster a new relationship with the people of God. We
could use your help to track our visitors from the Ritual of Friendship forms
and from the visits made to them.
